Dewatering in its simplest meaning is the removal of water. This process is used in many industries but commonly referred to in constructions and wastewater when water is separated from solids through a variety of different pumping or filtering processes. Construction dewatering is often referred to as dewatering, unwatering, or water control. It involves pumping from wells or sumps to temporarily lower groundwater levels, to allow excavations to be made in dry and stable conditions below natural groundwater level.
Dewatering Equipment is used widely in waste management, dewatering equipment can save money by reducing solids handling or disposal expenses that are charged on a unit weight basis. The weight percentage of water in landfill-bound solids and raw wastewater sludge can effectively double or triple the cost of removal or treatment services.


Specification

  • Portable & self priming with bottom suction which enables the pump to dewater up to the lowest level.
  • Motor available in "F" class insulation also have option of submersible winding.
  • Motor - 2800 rpm suitable for 230 VAC single phase for pumps up to 2 HP and for entire range 415 vac, 3© , 50 Hz power supply.
  • Also Available in 60 Hz frequency and specific voltage configurations.
  • Motor is jacketed hence cooling takes place faster.
  • Dual mechanical seal, for protection of motors, pump side seal SiC Vc SiC
  • Cable - of suitable rating x 4 core submersible cable of 10 mtrs length free with the pump.

  • Material of Construction

  • Up to 10 HP - All cast parts in Aluminium Alloy or Cast Iron, motor body and outer shell in Stainless Steel.
  • Above 10HP Pump - pumps are in fabricated MS construction. Impeller - CA15/CF8/CF8M.
